Safe and Responsible Event
… with our hygiene concept
Together with our 700 team members, we are especially looking forward to the new edition of the Christmas Garden and your visit this year! As the year 2021 also demands great restrictions from everyone in terms of events, we can hardly wait to offer our audience a unique Christmas season and to conjure up magical moments for our big and small guests. Safe and responsibly organised events and the health of our guests and staff are our top priority. Our hygiene concept will be adapted to the current requirements and continuously updated by autumn 2021 at the latest.
The key points of our security concept
The extent of the hygiene measures is always adapted to current developments with the necessary proportionality and in consultation with the authorities.
Communication
The regulations are communicated in a comprehensive and understandable way – from the moment the ticket is purchased until the visitor leaves the Christmas Garden. On the website, in all disciplines of the customer dialogue and with a signage concept on the grounds, the promoter guarantees complete and simple information for the customers.
Contact tracking
Traceability is ensured. The promoter uses computerized, personalized ticketing, so that the names and contact details of all visitors are available. The requirements of the authorities in this respect are observed, as well as the data protection regulations according to the DSGVO.
Advance booking of tickets
In order to simplify the process at the entrance and to avoid queues, we ask you to purchase their tickets in advance rather than at the box office on site. The cheapest tickets can be bought online from a PC, tablet or smartphone in a few simple steps. In this way, guests can secure their preferred time window of admission without stress and they also help to simplify the organization at the entrance.
Organized arrival and staggered admission
The entrance windows, in which a limited number of visitors can enter the Christmas Garden with their tickets, will be shortened from 60 to 30 minutes compared to previous years. This will reduce the number of visitors arriving intermittently and avoid queues. This significantly shortened time limit for the admission time windows also allows for better control of the arrival. Depending on the circumstances of the location, additional measures will be taken, such as the provision of additional parking spaces and the expansion of the public transport service.
Reduced capacities
This year the capacity will be reduced, which will lower the number of visitors. This step will make it easier to comply with the central requirement of maintaining distance in all areas of the event.
Compulsory mask
Wearing an FFP2 or medical mask is recommended on all event sites. Depending on the official requirements of the individual federal states, this may also be mandatory and will be communicated on site.
Distance regulation
On the entire event area the distance regulation of 1.50 meters to other visitors applies. This does not apply to family members, members of your own household or a maximum of one other household.
One way system
The circular routes and all neuralgic areas of all locations are organized in a one way system. Oncoming traffic is thus avoided.
Additional and trained personnel
Additional personnel will be deployed throughout the entire site to control the flow of visitors in order to avoid any form of congestion. The employees are trained in how to deal with the staff and with regard to the overall concept. A hygiene officer at each site ensures that the measures decided upon are implemented.
Disinfection
Highly frequented areas such as catering and sanitary facilities are regularly disinfected. There will also be sufficient stations for hand disinfection distributed throughout the entire site.
Catering
The safe and responsible organization also includes the gastronomic offer. Together with the experienced catering partners, the hygiene concept for the gastronomic areas is adapted to the current situation. Where a responsible operation of the gastronomy does not seem possible, our visitors have to do without it.
Compliance with the cough- and sneeze-etiquette
When coughing and sneezing, we ask you not to hold your hand in front of your mouth and nose, but to cough or sneeze into the crook of their arm or into a handkerchief. Please keep at least one meter distance from other people and turn away, then wash your hands thoroughly.
Testing
The need for corona testing in advance of the events will be decided and adjusted by autumn 2021.
